THE APPROACH

This is an opportunity to gain cybersecurity knowledge from the leadership perspective of a former Department of Defense Cyber Red Team (DCRT) mission lead. A DCRT is a cyber-focused group certified by the National Security Agency (NSA) and accredited by the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) to conduct cyber operations across the Department of Defense information networks (DoDINs) and to conduct cooperative, cyber adversarial assessments within specialized settings to determine cyber risk to the DoD.

This isn't another boring, cookie-cutter, pre-recorded class that drowns you with industry technical definitions, acronyms, and jargon. It isn't a how-to-hack lecture or a get-a-job-in-cyber guide or a cyber boot camp course.

This is a live transfer of knowledge primarily concerned with the foundational understanding of WHY we conduct cybersecurity operations as viewed through the lens of an advanced cyber threat team leader.

You will achieve a better understanding of the fundamental cybersecurity concepts, how they apply to your personal and professional life, and the challenges of staying cyber safe. Gain insight on the types of cyber threats, what motivates criminals, the process of cyber attacks, and why it seems we are losing the cyber war.
